INTRODUCING OUR JUNIOR HIGH PROGRAM FOR 2015!
Each week, JHSA has many different activities and events going on. However, once per week the campers go on an extended trip. Extended days will typically fall on Wednesdays or Thursdays, depending on the weather.
Here is an overview of these activities for each week of camp:
Week 1 – June 29 - July 3
Extended Trip – Rye Playland (pick-up at 5:30)
Other Activities –Mini-Golf and Arcades, Team Competition, Cardboard Wars, Create-a-Movie (The Camp Rules), and Group Games at Veteran’s Park
Lesson Series – “Imitator – Choosing to Follow God”
Week 2 – July 6 - 10
Extended Trip – Brownstone Park (Pick-up at 6:30)
Other Activities – Laser Planet, Life-Sized Game Day, Obscure Board Games Day, and Group Games at Veteran’s Park
Lesson Series – “The Pause - Learning to Seek God”
Week 3 – July 13 - 17
Extended Trip – Six Flags New England (Pick-up at 8:30)
Other Activities – Carnival, Rockin-Jump, Create-a-Movie Video Spoof, Group Games at Veteran’s Park
Lesson Series – “Jesus and Dealing with Stress”
Week 4 – July 20 - 24
Extended Trip – Lake Compounce (Pick-up at 7:30)
Other Activities – Ice Skating, Game Show Day, Clan Wars, and Group Games at Veteran’s Park
Lesson Series – “Jesus and Loving Others”
Week 5 – July 27 - 31
Extended Trip – Brownstone Park (Pick-up at 6:30)
Other Activities – Bowling, Tribal Wars, Obscure Board Games Day, Group Games at Veteran’s Park
Lesson Series – “Exchange – Gaining through Giving Up”
Week 6 – August 3 - 7
Extended Trip (Thursday Trip) – Six Flags New England (Pick-up at 8:30)
Other Activities – Laser Tag, Cardboard Wars, Murder Mystery, Scavenger Hunt, Group Games at Veteran’s Park
Lesson Series – “Follower – Living and Authentic Faith”
